Millennium Park Summer Film Series – Chicago

As the calendar approaches the official start of Summer, I cannot help but get excited for the many free events Chicago has to offer.  One of my favorite, weekly events is the Millennium Park Summer Film Series.

Each Tuesday evening beginning June 23rd – August 25, 2015, The Chicago Park District will show a free movie on the huge screen at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park.  Grab your lawn chairs, some blankets, picnic basket and cocktails.  Spread out on the great lawn for a beautiful, free movie night in the shadow of Chicago’s stunning skyline.

Millennium Park is a stunning location and the sound at Jay Pritzker Pavilion is fantastic.  Folks, you really don’t want to miss out on this wonderful film series.  It’s such a relaxing way to spend a Summer evening and break up your work week.

And, the good news is that Chicago’s beautiful lakefront is only steps away.  So, you can take a stroll along the lake and discuss the movie before heading home 🙂

Check out some of my photos and details from a lovely movie night I had there last Summer when I caught the wonderful music documentary, 20 Feet From Stardom.
